Erika believes that a healer does not heal others, but helps others remember how to heal themselves. She is often asked if she is a shaman or medicine woman - Her reply? A shaman is a specific healing lineage from Mongolia and Siberia, and the term “medicine woman” is extremely overused these days. She has been named a wisdom keeper by others, and openly shares her wisdom with everyone, and considers herself a ceremonial leader for all who seek healing and want to participate.
Born in Canada, she honors all of the ancestors of her multi-racial heritage, but does not identify as First Nations. The wisdom and healing ceremonies she carries come from her 30 year walk on a medicine path and Red Road. She has dedicated over half her life to working with Indigenous elders from North & South America and their ancestral ceremonies, altars and medicinal plants.
Erika is honored to have received their blessings to continue their traditions with honor, dignity, and respect. She leads healing & life transition ceremonies, temazcal (sweat lodge), tobacco, water blessings, as well as personal healing sessions.

Antarctic waters speak...
Antarctica - November 2025
ANTARCTICA... The 7th continent ! A dream come true to travel to the Antarctic and connect to this sacred land. The Wonder Summit that brought me was filled with talks, panels and presentations by experts in psychedelics, mental health and AI. Every day was filled with beautiful and majestic landscapes, spectacular scenery, never ending sunsets, and abundant wildlife - Truly AWE inspiring voyage to the bottom of our planet, and a privilege that I will remember forever !
What an incredible blessing of water in all of its forms - The brilliant clear waters of the Antarctic ocean, millennial ice, floating icebergs, sleet & snow... And what an honor to do a water blessing on this trip... I dipped my glass into the Antarctic ocean to pray and to listen to the waters... I felt the silent presence of millions of years of ice and all of the memory it holds... Pure Liquid Wisdom...
I felt grief and sadness that the these ancient glaciers and ice shelves are melting - along with the all-important cooling it offers our planet. But what was so surprising was I had no thoughts of rising waters, coastlines & cities disappearing underwater one day ,or about humans accelerating climate change.
What I understood was that 3 oceans: Atlantic, Pacific & Indian oceans, all carry the material garbage & energetic junk of all continents to the bottom of South America and mix in the Drake Passage - the most turbulent waters on the planet. And while I prayed with these waters - One message came through loud and clear: that as the Antarctic melts, these ancient sacred waters still have the unconditional love & generosity to dilute, cleanse & purify all of the destructive energies we humans produce, and then send it back out through the currents to circulate around the planet again ! So Powerful !
We are truly a small blue dot in the middle of our vast cosmos... as the recent NASA Artemis voyage around the moon reminded us. And we must protect this great gift we have been given... Our home is this generous Earth - and there is no Planet 'B' ! Therefore we must all to do our share and part to live in harmony and balance while here... not only for ourselves, but for the generations to come.
